I have successfully unlocked a 3G iPhone activated by ATT, using Yellowsn0w

I can now use either my ATT sim, or my Tmobile USA sim, and i have phone service on both, as long as i turn off 3G to use Tmobile

I'm sure it's an activation issue, rather than a carrier locking, as I tried an O2 SIM today and got the same result. Either that or the phone's goosed anyway!

it dont work for me, i only get no service :/ i have tried almost everything. terminal etc. airplane mode on and off. Worked for a while with a test sim. (not the one iam using). Any ideas? Very odd, 0.96 worked with my other iphone. Starting to get frustrated after 28 h. hehe

UK O2 payg iPhone, jailbreak, install yellowsn0w and that's all I needed to do!! Now working perfectly on O2 Germany and Swisscom.
