hello guys, yeah i did that but still no luck. i gave my iphone 3g to my niece and bought today un iphone from globe so if there will be a problem again i can get back to them. thanks guys. really appreciated for the help.

I have an iPhone 3g 2.2.1 (5h11) with modem firmware 2.30.03. This phone was purchased in the U.S. and gofted to me last month. I had the phone jailbroken in greenhills but for some reason, they were unable to have any local sim card work without a 'turbo sim'. The phone is working nicely but once in a while the signal disappears and i'd have to restart the iphone once or twice to get the signal back.

Is there any way to make the local sims work without the turbo sim?
If so, how do I do it?
Are there any local sims that will work with my phone without the turbo sim?
