my wife iphone 3g that i unlock is w=everything is ok. but right now i did everything to my iphone3g everything is ok but one thing is i can't call and receive call, like this my signal is in full bar but when someone calling me and i answer it suddenly drop the call and the signal keep decreasing and the airplane mode on showed up after 2-3 secs the signal strenght is showed up in full. but the problem is i can't make a call and recieve. can someone tell me what to do? thank you

re-jailbreak and re-unlock it again.

no need to activate in US. just jailbreak it NIB, then unlock

helo akoOo ba.. i did 4x but the problem still there.. anyone can tell me what to do. the only problem is i can;t make a call and receive a call. the sms is not a problem.

the problem is the call always failed and the signal decrease until the airplane mode showed up and after a 2-3secs the signal strenght showed up again but evrytime someone call me the same situation. i hope someon can solve this problem. thank you

and right now my wife iphone have problem since last night the wifi doesn't showed until now. no wifi.. but everything is ok can make call and receive call. maybe the yellowsnow have a bug that is why we encounter this. mine is different all working except can't make call and recieve.

did you use the yellowsn0w 0.9.6 ? And for the wifi issue, maybe you got a deffective unit or bugged BB.

When you activate/jailbreak make sure the simcard is inserted. After the JB unlock it (still the simcard inserted). It will work.

3. Put iPhone into DFU Mode

Get the iPhone into DFU mode
3.1. Connect the iPhone and your Mac/PC
3.2. Shut down iTunes
3.3. Hold Power/Sleep until the red slider shows up, slide to shut the iPhone down. If this aint work hold Power/Sleep and Home until the iPhone shuts down.
3.3.1. Hold Start/Sleep and Home for 10 seconds (I count like 100, 200, 300, ..)
3.4. Let go of Start/Sleep but keep holding Home until...
3.5. ... iTunes starts up and finds an iPhone in restore/recovery mode. The iPhone screen is black.

4. Command + Restore to stock apple 2.2 ipsw (mac). Shift + Restore to stock apple 2.2 ipsw (windows)
5. Disconnect iPhone from Mac/PC before it reboots after the software restore

7. Run Quickpwn and let it do its magic.
8. Disconnect iPhone from your Mac/PC.
9. After jailbreaking your iPhone with quickpwn go to Settings --> General --> About and verify that the Carrier field displays (null)(null). If theres other thing than (null)(null) in the carrier field your iPhone activated itself to your locking carrier. Start all over again.
10. Launch cydia. after the first run restart ignore the upgrade essential prompt and install SBSettings
11. Go to Manage-->Sources and add the yellowsn0w source

12. Press home button and return to your Home Screen
13. Go to Settings --> General --> Reset --> Reset Network Settings. This will automatically reboot your iPhone. After the reboot, it will now search for the carrier signal Automatically

thanks for the methods akoOo_ba..i did every single methods available here in this forum but everythign is ok i've got signal but the problem is i can't make and receive a call. and my wife iphoen 3g wifi right now is ok i just reboot my router and the wifi just showede up after i reboot the router.

and also i've got a wierd thing after i restore it to FW 2.2 my iphone 3g got a signal strenght..(this is wierd) but the phone is lock but i can receive a sms even though it's showed a emergency call only. and after i use quickpwn i have the signal already even i did not use yellowsn0w. and also i can't make a call but i can recieved sms this is wierd. i did 4-5 x to restore and quickpwn but it is the same problem. even i install yellowsn0w and idid everything method still can't make a call. right now my phone is useless untill get it work to make a call again and receive a call.

and also my problem is only that i can't make a call and receive a phone call. i use yellowsn0w 0.9.6, carrier signal is not a problem i have a signal strengt in full bar. everytime time a receive a call the carrier sginal drop to nothing and airplane mode turned on after 2-3secs the carrier signal show up again in full bar. i hope i can fix this. i hopeless right now. thanks

if u can get a new sim.... if possible a 3G enabled one.
