Yellowsn0w College Network Can't Use WIFI Download Yellowsn0w?

Hey guys sorry strange request and if this is against hackint0sh policy please delete the thread.

Basically I need a way to get yellowsn0w onto my iPhone without INSTALLER OR CYDIA I can't register my phone to the wifi network at school so it will not work. I was thinking I could still SSH and if that didn't work I can use one of the iphone file explorers people have developed... I really would appreciate if someone could upload the newest yellowsnow and bossprefs to somewhere online so I could download them and get rid of this *sim. Thanks guys!

I shall extend the question a bit more. How can i use yellowsn0w through cydia or installer if i dont have data plan or wifi available? Anyone any answer?

I know this... but that doesn't help with getting the yellowsn0w application itself....

You can use iphone Tunnel Suite .... BUT ... you need to have SSH on the iphone first.

You need to be able to use Cydia to get SSH first so you will need wifi at least one time.

Another way, is to use pwnagetool to create custom firmware with SSH in it - This is much more work though, so the simplest way is use quickpwn + wifi one time.

Once you have SSH on the phone with iphone tunnel suite and the yellowsn0w package, you can ssh to the phone and run dpkg -i yellowsn0w_0.9.x.deb (note: x is the version number)

Sorry I cannot put up the link because Dev Team prefer to have it done via Cydia.

For you guys who don't have a WiFi network but that have a laptop with a Wireless chip built in, I have the easiest solution.
Just create a wireless ad-hoc network from your laptop and set up internet sharing.
Then simply connect your iPhone to that network and you now have internet on your iPhone and can download yellowsn0w from Cydia.
For instruction how to set up Internet Sharing, Google is your friend. Just search for "internet sharing xp" replace the xp with your operating system!!!

I tried to create this ad-hoc network in vista and got error message saying can not create the network for some unknown reason. Can anyone suggest me what i am doing wrong here?
