Hi, I have an iphone i installed yellowsn0w on. After the install, it seemed to have been unlocked ok. However, the very first call i made failed, then the iphone switched to airplane mode for a few seconds, then switched to searching.... then picked the network, then immediately switched to no service then airplane mode again. It is stuck in this cycle till i restart the iphone. I have tried all the installation methods for yellowsn0w to no effect. Multiple restores and still stuck.

Any info on how to solve this issue? i would be most grateful.

And i noticed data works just fine. Calls out dont work. Sets off the airplane mode cycle.

I have unlocked an iPhone with yellowsn0w 0.9.6 and iPhone firmware 2.2 and it worked fine for a few days then kept displaying the message "Restore Needed" - iPhone: Understanding the "Restore Needed" message

I restored, unlocked it again and it still keeps coming back. It works fine fore a while but then returns!! Has anyone else had this problem?

Any help you have would be great.

No thread stealing intented, I think it's the same problem...

Had the same problem after restoring. kept saying "searching..."...

Turns out I forgot to TURN OFF 3G (I'm on t-mobile usa)... it's in settings/general/network... after turning off 3g, it works fine again... tmo's 3g network doesn't work with the iphone... may or may not be a problem where you are, but maybe this will help you troubleshoot...
