Hey guys, I have a 2.2 firmware phone with the latest 2.28 baseband. Tried using pwnage tool but after everything finishes and seems to work, I can't get any bars for service with my T-Mobile sim card. Carrier under settings shows (null)(null) and I cannot make calls.

I wanted to try yellowsn0w but wasn't sure if there was any prior things I needed to do before proceeding as I have an unlocked/activated phone via pwnage tool.

Any advice would be appreciated.

pwnage only jailbreak yr iphone and you still need to download yellowsn0w from cydia and install it.
Proceed with this cause it will do you no harm.

Well, don't I feel like the retard now. Didn't realize you needed yellowsn0w afterwards. I ran that and was up and going. Thanks.

IphoneEntusiast - thanks for the link as well...since I already had my custom ipsw loaded using pwnagetool, I just installed yellowsn0w and am up and running.
