There are many methods you can try as the following:
    - turn off 3G (use edge/gprs)
    - reset network
    - sync time with itunes (also, sync time of your pc with the net)

    ThankYou, but no luck.

•If tryed it with 3G, EDGE and GPRS: No GPS!
•I did a full restore. And many network resets: no GPS.
•I am not sure what you mean with syncing time via iTunes and Internet. What has it to do with GPS?

How can i check if localnd is working?

Mine used to has a problem like you...
    (when was the firmware 2.0.1)

I tested it by using a gps signal re-radiation,
which boost the gps signal and then transmit a stronger signal to my iphone 3g.
It showed the blue dot quickly.

My problem has gone after I upgrade the baseband to 02.28.00 and firmware 2.2

Unfortunatly i dont have something like re-radiation. Who is using it? Maybe i can find someone in my town.
I am on FW 2.2 with BB 02.28.00 and did two restore since having the problem.

You may use an app from appstore called trackthing. It seems to use the GPS solely, not the a-GPS.
After opening it, go to the "Geo" options an wait until latitude and longitude appears. Also in "Vitals", the GPS status should turn from red to orange or green.
    Hope that helps.

THANK YOU ALL - finaly GPS is working again.

I had to do a full restore ( for the 3rd time ) and start maps after activation via iTunes with the original t-mobile-SIM (blue GPS-dot was there after seconds!) and BEFORE jaibreak via QuickPwn, unlock with yellowsn0w.
Now, everything is working perfect, with original SIM and 3rd-PartySIM (a1 mobilkom)

    Thank You!
