Hi guys,

I'm a total newb in need of some serious help...

I have a brand new iphone 3g v2.2 baseband 2.28. I jailbreaked it a week or so ago and everything was fine.

When yellowsn0w came out, I installed it and things started acting weird. Dropping calls, loosing signal and service at random. So I decided today to fix it.

The first thing I did was uninstall yellowsn0w via the cydia app. (cydia, manage, packages, yellowsn0w, remove)

When I rebooted the phone my regular AT&T service was extremely spotty! to the point that I've only been able to make one or two calls all day long.

So I decided to take my phone back to the beginning before I jailbroke it. I plugged it in to iTunes and did a restore... It went through everything and backed itself up from an old backup. Then it said please wait for activation. But it never would activate!!

So I put the phone in to DFU mode while connected to iTunes, it prompted me to restore the iPhone that was connected in recovery mode. So I did... And it still wouldn't activate!

So now I've re-jailbroken the phone trying to figure out how to make it activate service again, I can't figure it out!! I've even tried removing my sim card and putting it back in ... please help! I just hope it's not permanently bricked!!!

Restore ur iphone from another computer.
I know it sounds weird and random but try it.
