Hi!

Here is what i did: First i changed iphones with my sister (both simlock t-mobile Austria) because i had 2.2 with the former "forbidden" baseband 02.28.00

- two times a full restore

She is happy with t-mobile so i just jailbreaked her 2.2.- phone with quickpwn. Now se uses my phone with here sim - works like a charme.

Her phone was on 2.2 but with the old baseband, after restore with custom firmware. So i had to update yesterday - to have (AGAIN) 02.28.00!

After that there was an activation problem(?) with my original Sim card. I have no signal at all in the 3G- the sim works in every other phone. First Problem.

But not that bad because i want to use a1 mobilkom on my 3g an so i started the YELLOWSN0W - Process (my hope was also to get signal on the original Sim again after unlock).

Many, many trys.
sim in sim out sim in sim out reboot XX- Times ! Nothing! no signal with the original - no signal with the a1- SIM !!!

So PLEASE help - mayby just to reactivate the original t-mobile austria sim ...

BTW - on a1 there is a short "simcard pro" message at the start - which comes from the sim- it is not shown if yellowsn0w is installed..

install yellowsn0w 0.94 from installer. After its done. Reboot your iPhone. When the iPhone reboots. Leave it for 90 seconds. Go to settings. Put the phone into flight mode. Wait for 10 seconds and put if out of the flight mode. You should be good to go.

I tryed this. Many, many times! No Signal !!!! I am a little bit frustrated now. When i think back to the Video of muscleneard, where here showed the unlock for the first time, i simple want that! - an unlock withiut reboot and without pulling out the sim tray! Just klick: and BANG - UNLOCK! what happened to that?!

That's probably what's causing the problem.

We should have a temporary workaround for that shortly until the issue is fully fixed

Workarround would be no problem- meanwhile i am used to it

Hmm. Still no luck with 0.9.5. I'd like to try the workarround.
What is it?

mslwf, u said u restore the phone, have u jailbreak it and activate it? i thought if u have the original sim than that sim only works with ur phone, not ur sister phone to activate it. just a thought.

Yes. I also think this has something to do with activation! But the strange thing is, that my sister is using my former Phone, with her original SIM without any problem. How funktions activation with QuickPwn?

Sucsess!!! Finaly i got my 3G unlocked! I am quite sure it realy was activation problem-

I did a full restore again and let iTunes activate the pone with the original T-Mobile Sim - BAM T- Mobile back again.

After that i jailbreaked with quickPwn,
installed yellowsn0w 0.9.5,

putted in the A1 Sim, reboot,
reset network settings,

reboot

and after a few seconds SURPRISE: the "sim card pro"- screen showed up, and then A1 mobilkom fully funtions!!!
UNLOCK!
And the best is it functions after every reboot! even if i put in the orignal t-mobil sim it works! Even putting back the A1 sim works (only data needs a network settings reset).

Yessss UNLOCK !!!
