yellowsn0w 0.9.6 working with Pin enabled sim card.
thanx dev-team.
Absolutely - OUTSTANDING WORK!! 9.6 is working flawlessly on:
AT&T Contract SIM
T-Mobile (USA)
Digicel (Haiti) with Roaming on either AT&T or T-Mobile (as it should)...
All signals are clear and don't drop/cycle as they did before... As well - start-up after poweron and/or reboot is quick & easy...
Wonderful job folks.. Simply outstanding!!
I am having an issue when i enable the pin, mainly when i reboot, i don't get the signal but only the 5 dots. Have you tried rebooting your iphone while pin is enabled? Did you install yellowsn0w fresh after the jailbreak/activation or did you upgrade from the older yellowsn0w version?
Good morning
Im looking for a clear understanding of the functionality of yellowsn0w 9.6.
1. When the iPhone is powered off, then on, does signal arrive without airplane mode? (previous versions required airplane every reboot, is that fixed?)
2. Do we still have to turn off 3G for Tmobile USA? one post here says no, others agree?
3. Does yellowsn0w require that SHOW caller ID be turned on? one post here says yes, others confirm?
4. Does yellowsn0w require SIM pin off? one poster here reports it works with PIN ON, others confirm?
Most important to me, is not to have to go to Airplane mode (nor remove and reinsert sim card) after every reboot cycle.. Is Airplane and Sim remove/replace no longer required to get signal (question #1 above)
thanks for all the testers reports
Jonathan
