Unlock iPhone 2.1 (baseband 02.11.07)

I have a jailbreak iPhone version 2.1 (baseband version 02.11.07). Now i want to unlock it.

The problem is that soft unlock is available for baseband 02.28.00. If i upgrade the iphone using itunes it will go to firmware 2.2.1 and baseband 02.30.03 for which there is no unlock yet.

Could any one please provide me with the procedure for unlocking my iphone. Thanks

Thanks duck9000. I followed the steps and was able to unlock using yellosn0w. However when i make a call, signals drop. SMS is working but i am unable to make calls. Could you please tell how to resolve this problem.

Hello mate,

I suggest you DFU RESTORE to 2.2 (NOT 2.2.1)

then re-jailbreak and re-yellowsn0w.

Simple solution really,
