from 2.0.1 to 2.2 to 2.2.1
Hi,
I got an iphone 3g which I want to jailbreak und unlock with yellowsn0w. It is not activated so far. I already got to the point where had it activated, jailbreaked und running 2.2.1 but yellowsn0w didn't work since the baseband was still 01.46.01 (the one from 2.0.1) . Now I got it back to point where started and want to try it all over again.
I think that I have to upgrade with the official 2.2. update so get the 02.28.02 baseband before putting the pwnaged 2.2.1.
my problem is that I'm not sure how to install the official 2.2 since i can't use itunes because my phone is not updated yet. Is this even the right way?
Pls, I new to this and I think the answer will be quite simple...
