i was wondering since Yellowsn0w doesn't work on certain firmwares .. is there any other way to unlock the iphone 3g ?? because i went to a shop that told me he can unlock it wtithout yellowsn0w but it will cost me some money ?? is that possible ??

not possible to "unlock" iphone 3G

Software solution = bb 2.28.00 + yellowsn0w = works very well for many many people
hardware solution = using X-sim / proxy sim = failed !

Unless you know someone @apple or from the official provider to get/send you the unlock token via itunes :-)

hmmm ok here is the deal .. some guy from apple offered unlocking my iphone the factory unlock for about 50$ does this means i can use any carrier ?
