[Minitutorial] YellowSn0w in Costa Rica
[UPDATE]
YelloSn0w 0.94 is out!! -q option is now by default, in Costa Rica works very good, just install, restart and Turn On and Off the Airplane mode.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I tested with a 8GB Black and one Alcatel SIM (Green) and one Ericsson SIM(white).
You just have to add the -q option to the yellowSn0w plist, just like the Dev-Team says, after that, just restart the phone and turn On the Airplane mode and Off. That's it!!
So, here the steps:
1. Make sure you have the 02.28.00 BB.
2. Install YelloSn0w from Cydia.
3. Install OpenSSH or use the MobileTerminal directly.
4. Edit /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.iphone-dev.yellowsn0w.plist
5. Add the line <string>-q</string> at the end of <string>/usr/bin/yellowsn0w</string>. This have to be in one line:
<string>/usr/bin/yellowsn0w</string><string>-q</string>
6. Restart the phone.
7. Open Preferences and turn On and Off the Airplane Mode.
8. Enjoy!.
If you change the SIM, restart the phone again.
