Help! I unlocked my iphone and I don't know if I connect it again with my computer
Hey everyone, so I have a question, and it's kind of complicated, although the answer might be simple.
I unlocked my iphone 3g last january and it's been working great. I had (have) one of the new macs, so I had to do the whole 10.5.6 kext patch thing to get my unlocked iphone to talk to my computer through the 10.5.5 usb kext.
Anyways, I haven't connected my iphone back to my computer since then because I keep hearing things about how apple will block unlocked iphones automatically because itunes recognizes them. And I don't know if i'm supposed to change back to the original SIM card if I want to connect my iphone 3g to my computer. And because I don't connect it, I haven't been able to update the software on the phone or the songs that I want on it and pictures and apps etc.... anyways, I don't know what to do next.
Can I connect the phone to the computer? can I update the things I want on it? What should I actually be careful about? What do I do next and how do I do it? Please Help!

you can connect the phone to computer.
the 10.5.6 DFU issue has been correct with 10.5.7 update.
Do NOT update firmware when you plug phone to computer (itunes may say there is new firmware and ask if you want to update).
DO NOT update firmware.
IF you want to update, only use pwnagetool.
