[FW2.2] Manually update baseband
Is there a way to manually update the baseband to 2.28.00 like there was on the 2G using bbupdater?
I used PwnageTool to update to 2.2 from 2.0.1 and can't be arsed to do an official update then another custom restore and data restore just to get the new baseband with my logos. Thanks.

I also need this , I was reading the comments on dev team blog last night prior release, MuscleNerd said they might make a tool for this if there`s enough demand for it...

u can use bbupdaterextreme from the restore ramdisk if u want to not restore. just unload commcenter, "bbupdaterextreme -f ICE2_02.28.00.fls", reload cc, done

Chronic - is it possible to do all that with a gui? I have no idea what you were referring to and need the same solution.
THANKS

It is much easier and faster to do a Restore with stock firmware and then do another restore with your modified firmware than to try anything manually...

Check the space on your partition, cydia moves stuff around and you lose 500MB with each upgrade which is why you restore.
The files worked for me, but I had to do the command manually and on the phone as unloading the CommCenter also kills wifi. So just do the 3 command from the phone's MobileTerminal and it works like a charm...make sure permissions are set on all the files that they can all be executed.

I read that at thebigboss.org, but I checked and its still fine. I had only 200 mb left of 8gb and still 200mb left..
