Hey IphoneEntusiast, how come you are saying that it doesn't work? Your current signature says that all functions on your iPhone are currently working. Not to mention that your previous signature when you made your first post on this thread stated that youhad baseband 2.11.07, but maybe you hadn't updated it yet, I don't know. In either case, I tested it over and over and that was the issue that gave me the sim error, once I prevented iTunes from activating my iPhone, everything worked as it should.

Cuz i tried this mini tut like 20 times and didnt work for me... So its not like i just wrote "it doesnt work" without even trying it.... i took my time and didnt work....

Everthing works o my iphone cuz i keep trying and searching and found this guide which did the trick for me and many others.

Please note that many people were getting different sorts of errors, but that this fix and believe me, it is the fix, is for the no service error that people were getting.

If you yourself would look at the first item in the guide which you have linked to, you would notice that it says "1. recover your iphone to 2.2 with bb 2.28.00 affter ready close itunes dont sync, activate or nothing just close it!!!"

As far as being a sticky is concerned, this post should be. The key as I have been saying all along to fix this no service error is to not have iTunes activate your iPhone and I stand behind that 100%. Only difference was that I said to use a custom restore with the Activate option selected.

If you don't think that this is the crucial step in the guide which you referred to, then please let me know which step is and I'll be more than happy to test it. Just in case you were even thinking it was a possibility, the whole turn off and on edge/3g is total BS.

I have unlocked my 3G 2.2 iphone successfully with Yellowsn0w but once I reboot the iphone it kept saying No Service, Searching... and 4 dots... in a loop. yellosn0w -s : Unknown message (0xe3ff8000)
open: Resource busy
I have given command multiple times but same result. I have also rerun ysHelper.sh script. Reset my Airplance Mode.

Does this solution suppose to work after reboot. Or after reboot do we have to run certain procedures again?
