you have to use 7.7...ive already downloaded it i need to wait for itunes to finish backing up my 3g yayy

It only partially worked for me. It pwned the ipsw fine and the restore went smoothly, but I had unchecked Activate Phone, as I am a legit customer just need the jailbreak, but after the restore it had applied the activation anyway now I dont get a carrier. Re-installing the custom image I had done with xpwn the command line way. I just wanted to test out the software. Other than that small problem it seems to work pretty well.
