same here. I tried to make the custom carrier bundles available for Winpwn aswell (working for PwnageTool 2.0.2) but...
Tried the same way the tar bundles are added with Winpwn but always failed to make then execute.

Since , iPlus and iLiberty used the same payload methods.I think there has to be a file that commands to execute the payload like "payload.sh or info.plist file".

Well, if you look into the one's that come with Winpwn, I am not sure. i have payloads that get palced in the correct folders of the custom firmware. The problem seems to be some permission thing.
It's like on the Mac version. If you want to execute something you have to create a LaunchDaemon plis that gets executed only once on the first start of the iPhone after the custom firmware is applied. This LaunchDaemon is capable of starting a script (.sh). On the Mac version this one works without any glitch. maybe I need to look into the commandline tools that get installed with the custom firmware to make sure the one's I use are present at first boot.
As I said, no problem on PwnageTool but I am still looking into that on Winpwn.

well that was always our problem using windows in this is u cant simply change permissions at the drop of a hat like you can in linux and mac.....

a good feature we could use in winpwn is direct filesystem access before the build so we can add the specifics ourselves you kno?

if you can find the startup script winpwn uses after the build you could manipulate it to change the permissions you want, since that already does permissions for actual apps you install from the internet

quick question; how come winpwn has bsd2 but you still have to download it to install it

I've succesfully loaded a payload that has a modified PhoneNumberTemplates.plist in it.
    Works great.

I dont have any problems placing files inside the custom firmware. the problem I am facing is, that a script needs to be executed on first launch of the iPhone to do some tasks. Thats the real problem infortunately it does not get executed.

Yes, I thought so. That's was some feedback, maybe useful to others.

Have you tried modifing the bsd2permissions.lst file?
