[Winpwn] - EDGE not working with Brazil TIM

Hi people,
I´ve used winpwn 2.0.0.2 to create a custom fw on XP. After my iphone 2G was unlock, calls, sms and wi-fi are working but edge is not. I keep getting server stopped responding all the time... How to fix this?
Second problem... winpwn didn´t allowed me to include cydia on my custom fw, it keep sayng creation failed till I tryed to make one withtou cydia and voila. The problem is... what about SSH??? Can i get ssh to work on my iphone without cydia? thx!

Try hard resetting, I mean hold the power and home button till it re-started itself and if not then try resetting the network setting under iPhone SETTINGS

I restored my iphone 2G to another fw 2.0 (made on a mac this time, but still using windows) and I still don´t get EDGE. I´ve tryed resetting all settings (the iphone reboots itself after that) no luck, I´ve also tryed holding down home and sleep till it reboots but still nothing. Always the same message ´Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding´, this message appears whether my edge settings are there or blank, makes no difference.
Can someone help me??

I´ve tryed reflashing my baseband using bootneuter... (checked unlock off and then on again) but still NO EDGE...
Can sombody help me on this one?? I really don´t wanna lose EDGE!!

who is your cell phone provider?

I´m in brasil, I use TIM. EDGE was working just fine before 2.0 and the weird thing is that the ´server stopped respongig´ message appears whether my TIM settings are there or not.
Do you know if pwn can corrupt edge?

Unlikely.
I think it's carrier list thing. I don't know too much about it to tell you but I'm sure there are lots brazilian users here.

I have 2G iPhone 2.0.1 pwnage
All worked perfectly but now I can't get online with Edge (Wifi works Fine)

Looks as though it's DNS resolver related as I can reach things bu IP address when on edge but not using DNS.

in terminal on the phone I can ping www. sucessfully on wifi but not on edge.
can ping IP addresses on both.

on the last page you will find a solution for 2.0.X aswell. can be related to non functional DNS when at EDGE
