I agree that didn't pwn my iTunes either, but I was OK with it, I don't need a pwnd iTunes as I can purchase free apps/games from the US iTunes store.I had made an account on it long time ago following some instructions on this site on "how to get a free iTunes account in an unsupported country(India for me)"

EDIT - perfect!!!! flawless.
it worked smoothly and now, its time to upgrade to 2.2.... well, not now, lemme enjoy and breathe a little (i always get seriously nervous when doing this stuff

EDIT 2 - oh damn.... tried to upgrade to 2.2, got error 1600 and now... its kinda bricked... i cant restore do custom, original or even go back to 2.0.2.... any ideas?

EDIT 3 - first, sorry bout all the edits, but its better to follow the story...
so, i managed to restore.... DO NOT RESTORE IN DFU MODE - thats the trick... do the home+usb restore mode and it will work... also, use ur custom firmware... ok, back to 2.2 upgrade!... be back in 10

EDIT 4 - i give up... i cannot upgrade to 2.2 cuz i keep getting error 14... tried 2 different desktops (XP and Vista based) and still getting the error... pretty annoying cuz i gotta roll back to 2.0.2 everytime...

any ideas????

EDIT 5 - upgraded to 2.1, so i could use cydia and the phone today... will try all of the 2.2 upgrading 2morrow... :S

I'm stumped... someone help me out.

I used to have a 2g iphone, made the idiot mistake and sold it to get a G1 b/c i have tmobile.

previously, i have winpwn'd it and quickpwnd it. Today i came across a 2g iphone and purchased it.

My problem is that everytime i connect it to winpwn it never wants to create the ispw. What could be the possible problem with that?

need help asap, i am without a phone and anyhelp would be greatly appreciated

winpwn has not been updated to use with later/latest firmware.
for iphone 2g, your easiest option is to use quickpwn 2.2.5 (mac) or quickpwn 2.2.5-2 (win).
You can use quickpwn with 2.2 or 2.2.1

If you want to create custom firmware the you choice is only pwnagetool for Mac.
