    Any ideas?
One more case of "Dont use this option!". Use "setup as a new iphone" instead in iTunes. Using restore... you probably got back old preference files from your old firmware that now cause the trouble.
simple restore to the custom firmware you made again, then in iTiunes setup as a new iPhone, sync with your music, videos, addresses, calendar etc and you will be fine

so after i restored with the custom firmware, i'm left with only 6.89 gb of free space.. UN-BE-LIEVE-ABLE. it seems like the amount of free space you have keeps decreasing with every new firmware release.. i remember when i had 1.1.2 there was 7.3gb free.. even with 2.0.1 i had 7.0gb.. now this? what the fuck son?! (excuse my french)

    Lightbulb Problem should be solved

For all who facing problem of sudden shut down of winpwn during creating IPSW file

    use expert mode and

INCREASE ROOT PARTITION SIZE TO MORE THAN 500M.

for me i making it 1000m because i installing alot of applications.

this also should eliminate iTunes error (6).

    I'm using Windows XP SP2.
WinPwn 2.5 Can NOT create 2.0.2 custom IPSW file no matter what I do. I even tried 2GB of partition space. I tried "no unlock, no activate, no cydia, no installer, no logos" which practially would be someting like duplicating the ipsw... but even that didn't work...

Downloaded ipsw again. downloaded winpwn again used different unzip programs. different hard disks, installation locations.

    Nope... Not a chance...

I even did mscofig and closed everything on startup...

Winpwn 2.5 still results in iTunes giving out an Error 6 unless the Root Partition is 1000mb. This was a problem of winpwn 2.0.0.x as well. So if you dont want to loose an extra 300mb then stay away until this problem is fixed.

However, since this problem has been so consistent over the winpwn versions I am beginning to think that it is being ignored.

Everything does work great! Well done on everything else!
