Default [Winpwn] 2.0.1 Camera roll issues

I went from 1.1.3 to 2.0.1 and i copied my auto roll from previous settings to the current and I am unable to see any of the new pics I take with the camera.

How can I fix this? Also when I delete a pic, it comes back in the auto rool

I had the same problem last week, fortunately it's easy to fix. Copying camera roll (I guess that's what you mean by "auto" roll) pictures, makes them run as 'root' while normally they should be running as 'mobile'. If you don't have VT-100 terminal installed, then SSH into your phone, get into DCIM folder, open up Terminal in WinSCP, and run the following command: chown -R mobile 100APPLE
Again, for this to work properly you have you run the terminal from within the DCIM folder, otherwise the command should be:

    chown -R mobile var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE

If the command doesn't give you an error, you should see the owner changed to mobile for the 100APPLE folder and everything in it. Then you may want to reboot your phone.

Yes I meant to say camera roll, I changed the title. With my allergies it messes up my thoughts

This probably happened cause - after going from 1.1.3 to 2.0.1 - in iTunes have been choosing the option "Restore data from backup" instead of "set up as a new iPhone". Due to changes in the user model things got messed up by copying back old preference files and data.

If you still have photos on the iPhone you want to save, SFTP into the iPhone and first goto
    /private/var/root/Media
You may find a directory called DCIM in there, open that, then in there 100Apple. Copy all files ending .JPG to your PC. Go back then to
    /private/var/root/Media
    and delete the directory DCIM

    Then go to
    /private/var/mobile/Media
Same procedure: If there is a folder called DCIM in there open it, then open 100Apple and copy .JPG files to your PC.
    Go back then to
    /private/var/mobile/Media
    and delete DCIM

After shooting a photo then camera roll should work as expected.

The folder DCIM will be created automatically in /private/var/mobile/Media as soon as you shoot a new photo

googs, have you tried what I said? That fixed exactly the same problem for me... And you may also see a new folder called 999APPLE, which is what your phone had to create to store your new photos being unable to write into the regular one (100APPLE). So I just chown'ed 100apple and deleted the 999 thingy..

This way would let you keep them, first on your PC. Then you would copy it to your photo app and resync it to the iPhone. But you are right, they are in Photos then on the iPhone and no longer on the cameraroll.

Am I invisible?? Googs, if you wanna keep 'em in your camera roll, then you go ahead and chown them like I said so that you can modify them (add/delete). End of story.
