i am try to restore my phone to 2.01 from 1.14

i've made the custom ipsw and when i restore i keep getting an error 6. I have read some threads explaining i need to put the phone into DFU mode which i have. (hold sleep/wake and home button for 10 seconds and then just home button until screen goes black)

anyone know whats wrong?

I keep getting error code 1601...........using Vista
Went into DFU mode using ziphone
Gonna try it on an XP machine now and see if that works...........
Same freakin thing........gonna try and DFU again.........
this time error code 1600.......trying manual DFU once more........

You can select Installer 2.0 and YouTube activation fix, but you cannot select Cydia! It works for me!

I keep getting error 6 as well. I am going to try to remake the custom ispw but if that doesn't work I will try to load up my custom 2.0 file

Can anyone give me a link to a good OpenSSH payload?
I must add it to the ipsw coz my wifi isn't workin...

I had success when running itunes at the time of building the custom firmware.

However when I restore I also get Unknown error (6).

what does no wipe do ?

I used to have that same problem. You should put ur iPhone in DFU mode.

and the 10 seconds part is EXACTLY 10 secs... use a watch!
