no idea... but i had the same problem in cyprus and cy is an un supported country where you had to save contacts both with area code and once without for names to show whent hey send a text or ring otherwise the name will only show for one if you dont save both.. for me when i recieved text and saved with area code it showed name but not when someone would ring even though they are saved on list until i found region patch for 1.1.4..

which isent available yet for 2.0.1 is it?

hello

quick question i have used winpwn 2.0.0.4 to flash my 2G Iphone with 2.0.1. I have noticed the directorys under /var/stash/ have weird charactetrs after the application name. eg) the Applications directory under /var/stash/ looks like /var/stash/Applications.kkdje

Why do all the directorys have these extra characters

lol no problem. however, i haven't gotten around to all the apps yet. summer classes and work are taking a toll on me. i only installed aim and facebook so far.

you can install both fine. i doubt the errors ppl get come from selecting combinations of cydia installer and youtube fix. (however if you have at&t or an official carrier, you should not select youtube fix)

i will not update from 1.1.4 to any other version untill the REGION patch comes out !!!!

hopefully soon, i have upgraded to 2.0.1 and need region patch also. maybe there is a way to fix or add settings through ssh?

Whats with the region patch man??... i have everything working... and i was in 1.1.3
so i dont see whats the problem with updating...

maybe ur in a supported country and dont need region patch.... iphone is not official in mine so i need region patch until its official.

Would like to thank you all for your work & helpful posts.

Went from 1.1.4 iLibery+ to 2.0.1 with no problems.
activate, cydia, youtube fix, with unlock.

Really great, absolutely flawless!!!

Did my backups using SSH so that prep and putting back
took more time than the pwning.
