To put 1.1.4 back on the phone you must do it right.
go to iclarified.com and look for the downgrade procedure.
Downgrading from 2.0 to 1.1.4 - the tutorial shows you how to use KiPhone to downgrade the baseband.

IMHO, The easiest to do is to restore the phone with apple official 2.01 fw and use winpwn 2.0.0.4 again. I'm not sure why people have issues with winpwn 2.0.0.4.

Why don't you do this since you keep getting error 6:

    1. Use iPlus2.0b to crack your 1.1.4 (iTunes 7.5).
    2. Winpwn 2.0.0.4 to upgarde to 2.0.1 (iTunes 7.7.1).

    Good luck and Cheers!
Thanks for the advice! I have even tried now on two different computers. This error 6 is a serious issue.

I'm reading up in iClarified right now, I am not gonna let this phone be a brick!

    2. Click on IPSW Builder
    3. Select the options you want (in my case, I selected youtube fix, installer, cydia, and also the options to unlock my baseband since I'm not on an official carrier.
    4. **I changed the partition size from 500MB to 1000MB**
    5. Then i built my IPSW
    6. Click on iPwner and select your newly built custom 2.0.1 firmware to pwn iTunes.
    7. Open iTunes and put your phone in DFU mode
    8. When iTunes detects your phone in recovery mode, click Shift-Restore then select your new custom firmware.

That's it. Restoring took a while, but I just left it, and then I had both Cydia and Installer on my phone. I'm restoring from backup as I speak.

NOTE: Building my custom IPSW with BOTH Cydia and Installer did not work until I tried changing the partition size from 500 MB to 1000 MB,!

That worked nicely no errors worked first time

thanks a lot for your input!!! both cydia and installer and i upgraded from 1.1.4.. on windows vista and restarted after instaling winpwn, ( dont know if that made any difference..)

finally got it working, 7am here, after i restore my back up i wil see if youtube works........

Edit ok everything works. Here is what you do if your on a offcial att contract

when creating a ipsw on the applications tab only click installer and cydia

in advanced make sure everything is unclicked as you dont need it

the partion size i used was 512

as for the rest i just fallowed instructions but those settings should work for those on att, note that will take a long as time for itunes to to restore a back up and do the restore itself

    do not forget this

before you install new winpwn version
    uninstall previous version of winpwn
delete "cmw" folder in c: Documents and settings/USER/applications data/ and delete cmw
