my phone was not unlocked by WINPWN before it was unlocked by some other software for 1.1.4

now if i use winpwn to unlock 2.0 is it OK ?

and

do we need to check mark the UPDATE BOOTLOADER in Advanced menu ?

What does the no wipe function do ???

I'm on windows xp. I was on ziphone 1.1.4 unlocked.

I got a 2.0 custom FW from somebody made on a mac. I put my iPhone in recovery mode and restored to the custom 2.0FW. Everything works fine.

I didn't pwn or neuter or anything. I think iPwner isn't really needed. So will I need to click iPwner??

I think iPwner makes thing worse to be honest. Is the custom 2.0FW made on mac different to 2.0FW made on windows??

If you've used custom firmware already and your phone is pwned and everything is working fine, why bother?

The firmware is going to be basically the same, its not like you have the ability to pick Cydia or Installer yet.

I'd keep what you have since its working.

According to xpwn documentation:

"-nowipe disables Apple's wiping of the NAND (user data), before proceeding
with the restore. This allows the restore to happen much, much more quickly."

This is the best guide I have found
I am on AT&T was on 1.14 JB
This worked perfectly and contrary to other Posts, I did check Youtube FIX and it worked, when I did not check it YOU TUBE did not work

my photo galleries,contacts,Playlists etc etc wont wash out of my iphone ?

and only the apps will wash out ?

for 1.1.4 unlock is there any different guide to unlock or similar steps wud work as for 2.0 on iclarified specially for 2.0.0.3 winpwn

From a 1.1.1 and up iPhone working normally, you can follow the iClarified guide directly. Now, if you want to unlock a 1.1.4 iPhone, the anser is yes too. According to WinPwg's page, WinPwg Support for both 1.1.4 and 2.0

I got the 1k custom firmware problem as well.
I reinstalled NET framework 2.0 and rebooted COMP anfd it fixed the problem when creating Custom Firmware.
everthing went smooth from then on

ok so i am having this problem now in 2.2 i was getting the error1 now i hav download the new version 2.3 in this in the advance tab i have only no wipe and activation is enabled all other are is disable.

i have uninstall it and reinstall it in different pc but still same..
