Have 2GIG Ram. when I use the builder it uses at his peak 1GIG so that is not the problem.

sweet my last try was succesfull

but if i make the custom IPSW I can only make it succesfull if i save it in the system directory of:
    \Application Data\cmw\winpwn\2.0.0.3\

if i want to create it into my directory:
    \Mijn documenten\Mijn iPhone\iPhone WinPwn\Custom.ipsw\

Then it always fails. Dunno why but maybee some ppl have the same problem and maybee this could help you.

Are there other ways to install OpenSSH than Cydia?

From WinPwn or Maybe I can transfer some files through DiskAid.

    Default 1601 Error

Used the latest 2.0.0.3 and got the 1601 error on restore...

Any advice on how to fix this?

The custom firmware was produced just fine.

Maybe you didn't DFU or used an older iTunes.

Mine worked just fine. However, it took ages to restore the Custom Firmware.

    Default 1601 Error

Used the latest and latest iTunes and got the 1601 Error as well

Everything worked perfectly until it tried to use the Custom firmware file...

It was in DFU - iTunes said so

Then I pressed shift and the restore button, used the custom firmware... then a couple minutes later bam 1601.

    What should I try next?

This is a 1st Gen iPhone...
