[WinPwn 2.0.0.1] Crashed while building .ipsw
Well, yes it did. Trying to make another one, doesn't even start.
I'm guessing a small bug to be swatted.

Thank you for that. I would have said just "ty" but the forums requires 10 characters minimum.

I still get the error, and once I magically make it work, iTunes gives me an error 6 when I try to restore.
What a broken piece of software.
forgiveness, sweet forgiveness

ok can someone clarify this for me.... im using an old iphone that has 1.1.4 on it...
im messing around with Winpwn but do i even have the right 2.0 ipsw file?
its iPhone1,2_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw and winpwn says its a 3G type file??
was there another version out there?
-
-
I believe you need to use iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw .
Notice the diff. it should be 1,1 and not 1,2 .

no it's iPhone1,1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw what you need for 1st Gen iPhones
UPDATE: I haven't made WinPwn work yet. We need cmw's guide because I am honestly really confused by this new WinPwn.

Creating ipsw fails because of Cydia.
For me winpwn always crashes if I check "Install Cydia".
I am trying with the iphone 3G firmware and I am not selecting activate and Youtube fix.
winpwn creates the custom firmware if I uncheck "Install Cydia" option.
