i have the 2G iphone with 1.1.4, jailbroken only, with at&t. I want to upgrade to 2.0 and keep both installer and the apps store. how do I do this using winpwn?

Its not possible you need the new installer 4.0 but thats not officially available.

if i jailbreak using winpwn, and install cydia, do I lose my existing third party apps??

If you update to 2.0 you will lose 95% of the apps because they are not compatible yet.

so that means they just dissappear?

yes they will go poof at least from your spring board but i dont think the apps get wiped out from this update so in other words they might just sit there and take up space while you cant acces them

Yes going from 1.1.4 to 2.0 will erase the apps you have and ones you get on 2.0 you will find Cydia doesn't have them available buddy.

If you like your apps and they are not in the Appstore you mite be better of waiting a bit longer.
