I upgrade to fw 2.0, but stuck at DFU. What to do now

hi guys - need help here.
what is the best way to unlock a upgraded to 2.0 version iphone. a friend sell to me from US to malaysia, but he set factory defoult setting before sent to me.

some expert - pls tell me best way/software to unlock it so i can use any sim n jailbreak it so can use any app. thats all nothing more.

i am a window user.need kinda step by step solution.pls help. i am new to iphone world.

so am i need to unlock n jailbreak it before use it in malaysia. if need to unlock n jailbreak - what software to use (easy one pls).

i am really in trouble...i just follow the link everything going fine untill i stuck at to get DFU mood,,,firts error -7.......and the PC hang......i close the app and....then my phone is dead..i even cant ON it...pls help...pls help....what actually happened??

luckyly the phone life back..i donno how? threis one question on my mind - i am not sub to itunes (asia). am i still can use the winpwn tool to unlock. anywhere i can without use itunes (not a concern for me) i just want use the phone for my local sim.

i accidently update my iphone to 2.0 using itunes but fail ith error-7. then my iphone cannot off at all...keep on flashing the itune logo.

now in DFU mood (cannot on cannot off - screen remains black). when i connect itune ask me to restore - i did but nothing happen.
can anyone gimme the link to d/load the custom winpwn which already created using winpwn.(i cannot create due to the phone is already DFU mode).

so, how to come out from DFU mood. my phone is now in DFU mood. i cant ON or OFF. when i connected to PC...its say the iphone is in DFU mood. i dont have custom filmware to upload. So what shall i do?

i am clear on the totorial/instruction but the problem is i, when i want to start it all over again the PC cannot detect the phone (is it because of the DFU mood?)

i tried to off the phone...but it remains in black screen. any idea?

Hey guys. my simple solution was to uninstall itunes 7.7 keep the driver, reboot, install 7.5 itunes, with 7.7 driver , do a restore to 1.1.4 , now liberty finds it, boot it into regular ... then if you want 2.0 upgrade itunes, and custom ipsw it with winpwn ... or unlock it on 1.1.4 .. whatever you're pref
