Default Mobile Me not syncing up

Searched through forums and couldn't find a related thread, so here it goes.

Ok, so I updated to 2.0.1 using WinPwn [2.0.0.4 of course]. Back in 2.0.0 my MoblieMe account worked flawlessly with Push notification system. I got e-mails on the spot.

Now with 2.0.1 it seems the sync between MobileMe and my iPhone has stopped. I can access the mail account and all, just not as a Push service, more like Fetch or me refreshing in the app every now and then.

Is this a side effect or is this a recoverable state? Any advice, fix or explanation about the problem is good for me.

    Specs
    2.0.1 with Cydia + Installer.
    Jailbroken/Activated/Unlocked/8GB/4.6 BL
    root partition 550MB
includes custom made Boot & Restore images.
    04.05.04_G Baseband
    Collectors Edition Al MacBook 2.4GHz | 1st Gen iPhone 8GB | iPhone 3G S⃣ 32GB

Did you update or restore to 2.0.1?
Get it working again / The mechanism of Mobile Me:
    1. Disable pushing on your iPhone for all 4 topics on the iPhone
    2. Make sure your PC is synced with Mobile Me
    3. When pushing is disabled on the iPhone start iTunes
    4. Yopu now can sync addresses, calendard etc as before Mobile Me. ATTENTION: Make sure before hitting sync that in "Info" you set to "Replace information on this iPhone".
    5. Sync iTunes with the iPhone
    6. When done, again do the setup to use push for all 4 topics on the iPhone
    7. Will take a while, until the addresses and stuff get synced

This is basivcally just a re-setup and should work

I DFU the iPhone from 2.0.0 to 2.0.1. And I will try those steps.

DFU restore from 2.0 to 2.0.1 might not work and throw errors. Cause the iPhone is already pwenaged, the iPhone only has to be in simple restore(recovery mode.
Disconnect iphone and PC. Make sure iTunes is running on the PC. Shut down the iPhone. Hold Home button and - while holding Home button - re-connect to the PC. ITunes will "See" and iPhone in recovery mode. Release Home button and shift-restore to the custom 2.0.1 firmware and you will be set.

Just Restored the whole thing. iTunes wishes to set up from back-up. I will do that. Let's see what happens now. If nothing helps, well, I'll think of something or call Apple.

dont setup from backup, this might give back preference files that cause the problem. setup as a new iPhone, then sync, then do the Mobile Me stuff i suggested.

Followed the steps after doing the whole thing over. Still, Mobile Me does not sync with PUSH stuff. I have to go fetch the emails.

Contacts worked pushed vice-versa, but after a Restore they stopped syning at all. I'm about to call Apple bout it.

After the restore, did you set the iPhone to use the push services in "Mail, calendar,..." and in Preferences "get new data". I forgot that after a restore to set it in Preferences->Mail,addresses, Calendar". Took me a while...

I didn't see that option, only details info about the option of getting Push On/Off on Mail, Bookmarks, Contacts and Calenders.
