I have pwn my iPhone using the DFU method to get the 2.0.0, and then again to go to 2.0.1.

I wonder if it is possible to go to 2.0.2 using an pwn’d file using the iTunes update + shift.

It is possible? Or I have to DFU my iPhone with every update? (twice a month… and growing)

I just tried updating to 2.0.1 from 2.0.0. I even changed firmware file name (removing Custom), and copying to itunes software folder and does not work. Inmediatly try with DFU and works like a charm.

Definitly DFU is the key and it works every time.

Yah, I just had the same problem - tried to just update to a custom 2.0.1 fw and it crashed error 13 and then put into recovery. Stuck in DFU and restored and worked just fine

Sucks I gotta resync all my apps and music and everything though
