Default I had a custom 2.0 and I tried upgrading to a custom 2.0.1, ERROR!!!

first, I got the 1602 error, which I thought I knew represented something about the baseband or something, than my 8 gig iphone could no longer be used or anything, then I downgraded itunes to 7629 on my vista, and I was able to install a original 2.0, not custom. Now, if I try to put the custom 2.0 back on this one I get a error no. 20. Why is this? should I be upgrading itunes to the latest version, or should I be doing something else? thanks!

What do you mean PWN iTunes? pawn the actuall software??
the custom images I wanted to use were already pawned if that is the case, the phone was the one that I did not pawn already, I though it would be ok since a pawned custom 2.0 2g was running on it. I am getting confused about this pawning thing, do you only pawn the phone or do you also pawn itunes???

Just to be sure: After the creation of the custom IPSW file, did you use the "iPwner" button located on the WinPwng 2.0.0.5 window to open the custom IPSW file created?. If you do, did you get the "Your iTunes has been Pwned" message?

Yes, I forgot to use the ipwner function... Mostly because I am confused about this: Does the phone get pwned? does the firmware get pawned? now itunes gets pawned??? DO I GET PAWNED???? ))))))))))

Well, in that case, start all over again and this time don't forget to use the iPwner function
