I do not get it I still get error 1601 and sometimes 1604.

What i did:

I have an OOTB 1.1.2 iPhone. I updated it weeks ago to 1.1.4 with Fake Bootloader 3.9.

1. I restored my iPhone with FW 1.1.4
2. Unlock and Activation with iLiberty
3. Bootneuter back to Bootloader 4.6
4. winpwn custom firmware
5. pwned itunes
6. put iphone in DFU mode with iLiberty
7. try to restore with custom firmware.

but no chance error 1601 and 1604.

please help me what do I wrong ?

I was having a lot of errors 1601, 1604 etc yesterday. I closed down itunes and renamed my iTunes folder where the iTunes library.itl file is located
PC :My documents\My Music\iTunes
Mac: Username\Music\iTunes

I restarted iTunes and it created a new folder. I was able to proceed without the 16xx errors. I then deleted the new iTunes folder and renamed my old iTunes folder back to its original name.

I am not sure whether this was what fixed my 16xx errors or not but it is a simple thing to try.

Okay, who's been telling people to put their phone in DFU mode with iLiberty/ZiPhone? That person needs to be shot.

iLiberty and ZiPhone are perfectly capable of putting your phone into a SOFTWARE DFU state (i.e., they'll upload and run that WTF file). A fat lot of good that will do, because the vulnerability used is in the hardware DFU code.

Use the manual DFU instructions that have been posted on the Internet ad nauseum.

Here's how you do the DFU

go to:

C:\Users\"YOURUSERNAME"\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\Device Support\

and delete everything inside it. if you dont have the "Device Support" folder, just create an empty one.

run winpwn to pwn your itunes and you are good to go.

Don't use iLiberty+ to enter DFU mode if you have iTunes 7.7. It will give you the error. You need to do it manual way. Please check here. http://giphone23.blogspot.com

Interesting, I use ziPhone to go to DFU mode when I flashed my Phone to 2.0...

Worked perfectly for me.

But yeah, try manual DFU mode access.
