    Thanks for that info.
See my post #9 regarding the edge/gprs stuff. I'm still looking at the payload. Do you think you can call your carrier to have them disable edge/gprs just to test ?

I dont have edge. The Edge settings are empty.

By the way, I also tried restore with Installer and without Cydia, with Installer and Cydia, without Installer and Cydia and without Installer but with Cydia. I thought that it might be a bug with one of these applications that could be causing the issue, but it's not.

Well there seems to be half a dozen threads re wifi including:

I also notice that MuscleNerd's thread which related to 'Grey wifi' has turned into a thread re wifi that doesnt pickup any Access Points.

    Default Payload would be great!!!!

    Hi everybody,

    thank you for helping!

@dtube: Such an payload would be nice. IŽll also call my provider and ask him to turn off GPRS/Edge.

IŽll let you know the results.

same problem with me here... i started at 1.1.2 uk phone. done all the progression updates.. 1.1.3 - 1.1.4 - 2.0 - 2.0.1 up untill 2.0 everything was fine... then once on 2.0 my wifi went wrong.. barely ever picks up a signal and when it does the phone just hangs loading sites and then returns to edge. if it does stay connected it gets really hot which is odd?

i know its not a router problem as i have a 3g pgone in the house as well and thats fine.

i have tried downgrading back to 1.1.4 inc baseband but still no luck so am back on 2.0.1

i hope there is a fix soon. i am going to try turning edge off though bossprefs in a min and see how i get on.

    Cheers
SEARCH!!! Its really not that hard!!

    Default ZiPhone

    @lordofdaflies:

IŽve never ever used Ziphone because of the warning which can be found on nearly every iPhone-Forum.

Should I used the patched anyway?

    Oh common Law ...
Just go legit as a test and let us know.
you still have the custom firmware and a simple restore mode will let you put it on again

I say no, don't try it yet ...
Just keep thing simple, one thing at a time.
let us know if turning off edge will help you.
BTW, I have bossprefs payload for pwnage tool (not for winpwn). Do you have a Mac ? (a nice friend of mine gave me the payload)
