After pwning -- sms not working ?
I had 2.0.2 software, I wanted to see what was different in 2.1, so I upgraded, it kept the unlock no problem, however I didn't like the software, so I downgraded back to 2.0.2 and now everytime I send SMS message the bar fills like 90% and then says "Error Sending Message" -- also I cannot receive text messages? I've tried the **5005*7672 etc solution, my internet works, everything works, phone works, just no SMS ?! it USED to work, and now it doesn't? Anyone know what's wrong? Please help!!!!! I'm using 2.0.2 T-Mobile ! Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Restore in 2.1 and then pwn/unlock. Maybe that will help clean out your phone so that you may sms. If that dosnt work you could try using a third party sms app and see if that brings back your sms abilities

Open the backup (SMS) on your Mac/PC, in there you will find a file called sms.db. Copy this one via SFTP into the SMS folder on your iPhone, replacing the one there. restrt the iPhone again. Should all work now and you'd have your SMS history aswell.

Basically, the reason your SMS gets stuck at 90% is because the sms.db file that you have on your iPhone is corrupt. You have to restore it to one that will work for the new 3.0.1 upgrade. So, if you do a backup from iTunes 8.0.2, it will generate a brand new sms.db file, which you then have to restore back to your iPhone and everything should be fixed again!
Anyways, what is the path for the sms.db file located on the Mac? Thanks.
