    Default [2.0] WinPwned and unlocked - Now need to upgrade to 2.0.1

    Sorry if this has been covered before (am sure it has been) but using the search on PHP BB is pretty tricky with all its limitations

    So I have a 1st Gen (4GB) phone that was on ATT till v2.0

    Finally I decided to unlock it and I used WinPwn to unlock while retaining the baseband at 3.9

    Even though I love 2.0, I am getting sick of the Keyboard and contacts lag and planning to upgrade to 2.0.1

    Also, I don't need Cydia/Installer so if I do aplain upgrade to the stock 2.0.1 formware, do I lose out on the unlock and Youtube fix?

    Can someone please point me to the right upgrade path?

    All you have to do is to do an update via iTunes.

    Get a copy of fw 2.0.1 and do "shift" update and choose the firmware from your folder and just let it update.
    You will loose Cydia/Installer but it will remain unlocked and Youtube will carry on working.

    Same for update to 2.0.2 by the way.

    Well.... in my case I just went from 2.0 to 2.0.2 upgraded with iTunes and NOTHING ELSE.... Im not sure if this is normal but just didnt need nothing else. Everything is working, it is still jailbroken, activated and unlocked. Im not sure if this is because of my local carrier being and official iPhone carrier, not sure. Just update to 2.0.2 and check, if not working, QuickPwn, there is nothing to loose.

    Absolutely normal. After an upgrade, everything will be there but the jailbreak and the third part app.

    I still have a question on winpwn that I cannot answer
    The guide/system asks if you have an approved carrier....

    I happen to be an AT&T subscriber but I have not signed up for iPhone service or for an iPhone?
    In this case do I say I am on an Apple Approved carrier or not....?
    I do not have an AT&T iPhone SIM.

    When you say you are an AT&T subscriber does that mean you have a PLAN with them .....? Month to Month...? Pay as you Go...? what Plan...?

    What PLAN do you have ...just a Voice Cell plan...?

    I have an old contract that has expired and I pay month to month for the service. I have a data plan (non iPhone version), an AT&T data card and a couple of phones under this bill but none of this includes an iPhone
