[2.0][WinPwn] Questions on settings to Jailbreak ONLY on AT&T
Hey all,
I have never needed to pwn my phone until now and just want to make sure I do things right. I have jailbroken almost every version of the firmware since 1.0.2 but I would rather ask then brick my phone. I have read over a few of the guides but have a few questions. I have a 1G iPhone (It was 1.0.2 OTB) running virgin 2.0 (What is the proper term for this? Virgin?) and Vista x64. I have AT&T so I have no need to unlock.
Questions
YouTube Activation Fix My understanding is I do NOT need to use this because I am on AT&T.
iPSW Builder
Activate Phone In previous jailbreaks this was unnecessary if you were on AT&T, does that apply here as well?
No Wipe If you wipe, does it restore your old data (Notes, Contacts, Calendar) like a normal restore or completely wipe and sync like you just bought the phone (losing Notes, grabbing Contact and Calendar from Outlook or whatnot)?
Enable Baseband update and everything else in the Advanced tab This is all related to Unlocking so I dont need to bother with any of it, correct?
Anything else I should make sure to make note off that would be different on AT&T vs Unlocking?
Thanks in advance for the help!

You should be good. Uncheck everything in WinPwn and tell it to create the IPSW. Mine failed a few times and magically worked once. Then I tried to restore and I got an error 6. Now I'm busy restoring to virgin 2.0 and trying again from DFU since I can't get to it now.
forgiveness, sweet forgiveness

You would just want the Custom Logos and Cydia for now.
No You Tube fix or Bootneuter Options.
The Now Wipe oftion I think is to disable the long Erase All Prossess in Reset Settings. Just a guess.
