Hey guyz,

i was using 2.0 PWNED which worked well with all the apps... then came 2.0.1 which promised better functions n stability... so i UPDATED my iphone to 2.0.1 using itunes and my phone remained unlocked and activated... all the apps were gone but i didnt care coz my phone was actually working faster and smoother... after few hours of use i started facing the same keyboard lag problem... i thought i should restore my phone again with 2.0.1 and start it as a NEW IPHONE in itunes...

Dunno what crossed my mind i went to settings and did a COMPLETE RESET... after which my is unlocked but not activated... later i casually thought of going back to 2.0 till the time new pwnage software is not released but itunes is not allowing me to downgrade to 2.0 as it gives me error 6... i tried using itunes 7.5 but not luck... it just wont allow me to go to any firmware other than 2.0.1...

Plz guyz i need help with this... coz i cant wait till the new pwnage is release and as im a WINDOWS user so WINPWN will then take additional days to get released... Plzzz help me guyzzz... ANY SUGGESTIONS...

firstly i really appologize for making this thread... actually i read all the threads but overlooked a few things... thank u ccc001 coz i have been through that thread 100 times but i overlooked the smallest detail... i was putting my iphone in RECOVERY mode n not DFU... today i got the difference between the 2... thank u... my phone is currently getting downgraded to 2.0... no error 6 what so ever...

I too am stuck...i get cannot downgrade from 2.0.1, i am stuck with cable and itunes icon...i can put the phone into dfu mode..iliberty confirms this but when i try to restore (shift click restore) it starts as if ok but then finishes with an error either 5or 6 and then goes back to the same icon...itunes then sees the phoe in constant restore mode...ituunes 7.5.7.6.7.7 tried with ipsw 1.0.2, .1.12, 1.14 tried. pls can somone advise...i have certainly put in the leg work on this...thanks

Pwnage Tools 2.0.2 or whatever version is out that jailbreaks 2.0.1
so i suggest try to get to a mac and use pwnage tools
