Default [1.1.4] Recovery mode. SOLVED; see post #12

i would really appreciate if u help me out with this so damn annoying problem...let me explain to u how this all started...

i had unlocked my phone using iliberty..basically had 1.1.2 upgraded using iliberty to 1.1.4...everything was working fine..until i put my hand into winpwn..
i saw some fantasizing icon called CUSTOM LOGOS...so thought of changing logo using winpwn..so downloaded one logo and updated it...
now the problem is that i can neither update to any newer version nor restore....if i try to update via itunes i ll either get 1604 error or 1602 error....
i cant even use winpwn to chnage logos or to unlock....i m just stuck in no man's land..i saw various tutorials ..nothing helped me...
i cant even go to recovery mode....if i try to go to recovery mode then it gets stuck in some strange mode that my phone is not detected at all....

    pls help me out.....

    ya i tried tat too..

That is not DFU mode (pic2).
    Do this:
    - connect phone to computer and turn it OFF (make sure it is off and not just the screen save)
    - shutdown itunes
    - hold down power button + home at the same time for about 9-10 sec.
    - Release the power button but continue to hold the home button.

    - As you continue to hold the home button , you will hear the connection tone from the computer. You may see the little message at the lower right hand corner of the computer saying something like "detect DFU ...". If you don't see it, that's fine.

    - one you hear the connection tone, you can release the home. The iphone screen should be black. If you see the pic like you have, you are not in DFU.

    - Itunes should launch automatically. If not, run it. It will display message "detect phone in recovery mode ...."

i opened the itunes manually..it showed waiting for IPHONE...but after some time..
    i got an 1601 error...

    @killcreek,

I must say that I am very frustrated with you. You posted your question in another thread (DFU thread). I'm trying to help you there and in some other threads as well.
    Here are all your posts:

    Now you started this thread.
    STOP doing shit like that.
It's is f***'ing impossible to help you if it is all over the place. If you do not have the patience to wait for my reply then I'm not going to try to help anymore. (enough ranting .... I'm upset).

From what I can see here. You had 1.1.2 and you upgraded to 1.1.4 and you try to use winpwn and the whole nine yards.....

    You wrote:

What ever you did, you phone did not update to 1.1.4 correctly because that baseband version 04.12.13_G tells me that you are still running on 1.1.2.

A proper upgrade to 1.1.4 should give you baseband 04.04.05_G.

NOW. Put the phone in DFU mode and restore with Apple original 1.1.4 firmware. After that, you can use iLiberty+ to JB/ACT/unlock the phone.

If you want to use winpwn, you can use that to create custom image 1.1.4. Keep it simple and don't try to get fancy with boot/recovery logos.
