(1.1.4>>>2.0) No you tube

I can only get you tube to work, when using wifi. It wont work under edge settings etc, despite checking the youtube box in winpwn, It didnt work under 1.1.4, or 1.1.2, but did i believe in the good old days of 1.0.2.

The phone has had the previous you tube fix applied etc, (and removed, and re added), but it still doesnt work.

I requested to wipe the phone from 1.1.4 to 2.0 in ipawn hoping a new set of youtube files would get applied, but it still doesnt work. Anyone any suggestions ?

I think you will find you only have GPRS

1.0.2fw -> 1.1.1fw couldn't tell the difference between EDGE & GPRS so the youTube worked fine, 1.1.2 -> 2.0.1 can so it doesn't

And none of the current fixes work for this issue

Damn - thanks, i've read hundreds of posts on here, and it seemed like i was the only one having this issue.

I'm assuming it would have worked with the correct activation though ? So perhaps somehting was missed during the unlock program ?

Are you running on an official carrier network?

Im running on vodafone UK and they don't support EDGE so I haven't had youtube working since I moved from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 firmware.

There was a way to get it working on 1.1.2 by replaced the youtube app with the one from 1.1.1, but I wouldn't think that would work now a days.

Yes using 02.. Its worth noting that now and then you tube works, (with the E symbol) but most times it doesnt
