This is a really useful web application to access several chat networks including msn,yahoo,etc etc..
the UI is designed for the iphone so you will really love it..

Now if only someone could figure out a way to implement IM on the iPhone where you were not blocking cell calls, that would be awesome.
Either way, I am pretty sure that I will be upgrading to the next gen 3G iPhone if only to have web browsing while I am on the phone.
