Upgrading iTunes breaks my hackintosh
Using iAtkos S3 v2 on a Sony Vaio VGN-FW448, everything is working fine, except internet of course, which I plan on buying a wireless USB adapter for when I can figure out this problem...
When I upgrade iTunes and I run it it works fine, but then when I restart my laptop Snow Leopard won't even load up anymore, I tried booting in verbose mode and I believe it said something about my audio drivers? Is there a certain way you have to install iTunes on a hackintosh or is there like a certain version I shouldn't upgrade past?
I don't have Snow Leopard installed at the moment because I couldn't figure out how to even get it to load anymore, if someone could maybe help me out I'll reinstall it so I can get more details if needed.
If not maybe I should just try buying a barebone laptop and buy all the right parts so I won't run in to any problems? I already have an original Snow Leopard disc, which I found to be a pain to figure out how to turn in to a hackintosh disc, would I just be able to pop it in the cd drive and install it if I built a laptop with all the right parts?

Even if you built your own system, you would need a bootloader (either on the hard disk or a CD/DVD) to be able to boot into the Snow Leopard disk.

1.for that itunes problem, have you try to fix that driver/kext by puting back the old kext (may be from iAtkos dvd) (you can try this on safe mode)
or try boot with -f.
2.event if you built your own mac pro spec pc laptop, you still have to use some patches just to boot your SL disc.

Well I tried installing snow leopard again and didn't run in to this problem again, I guess this whole hackintosh thing can be a little unpredictable
