Simple Network Issue?
Hi all,
I'm running SL 10.6.7 on an M11X R1. I'm using the AtherosL1cEthernet.kext for my NIC.
I'm able to get an IP address just fine through DHCP. In the network settings, it says "Ethernet Connected", with an IPV4 address (10.0.131.233), subnet (255.255.255.192), and router (10.0.131.193). DNS servers are 10.0.131.201 and 10.0.132.8. This is on my corporate network. There's no proxy, MAC filtering, or anything like that. I can boot into Windows and get addresses and out to the network/Internet perfectly.
Although I have all of the addressing in OSX via DHCP, the Ethernet shows as "Connected", and the lights are on the NIC, I'm not able to:
1) Access the internet.
2) Access anything on the LAN
3) Ping the router (10.0.131.193)
4) Ping the hackint0sh from other machines on the LAN
Any ideas? I believe others have had no issues with the onboard NIC (usually wifi is the pain), so I'm not sure if it has to do with me running 10.6.7 (the latest guide was for 10.6.6) or what.
Thanks!
