Need help with freezing Dock/Task Bar please.
Hello.
This is my system -
Asus P6T SE
i7 920
nVidia GTX470
Audigy 2 ZS
Optiarc DVD drive
Toshiba 120gb SATA drive.
There are 4 other SATA drives, 1 NTFS for windows and 3 others are Raid0.
In the bios, Raid is turned off and SATA mode is set to AHCI, with all drived but the Toshiba and DVD disabled.
I installed Hazard OSX 10.6.6i. The install went smoothly (busratio=20).
After install it kept showing "Still waiting for root device", but that went away once i booted with a 132 boot cd made for Asus P6T Deluxe.
Once i am in OSX, it appears operational. I can open Finder, browse folders etc.
However, when i click on the Dock -> System Preferences (the grey cogwheel icon), all of the UI becomes unresponsive, and i have a spinning round rainbowy mouse cursor. Basically i cant click on anything at all.
Is there perhaps anything I can do to fix this issue? could this be happening because i am using the 132 boot cd and not the Hazard one from which i installed?
Thank you.
