Well, after some time I managed to get my Hackintosh 10.6 running without a hitch, and I even bought the Ralink-based USB adapter in order to ensure it runs flawlessly online too. I purchased a TP-Link WN321G, with 802.11g compatibility, to be sure I was getting something that would definitely be effective. Unfortunately, it will not work with my Hackintosh. I have used the same settings as in Windows, but Safari cannot connect to the internet. According to the USB Wireless Utility (I installed all the Kexts relating to Wireless, as I assumed that'd be the easiest way to get everything I needed), I am connected. The Ralink program as well says I'm connected. But Safari will not allow me to enjoy my internet connection. I'm using a second generation BT Home Hub, and Windows accepts it without a problem. Have I simply made a n00b mistake in configuring the internet on the Hackintosh partition? I hope that I will be able to get some conclusive answers as to why my Hackintosh can't get on the internet, but my Windows 7 Ultimate partition can. I look forward to enjoying the net on my Hackintosh, with many thanks in advance!
