Hello guys, i built my hackintosh a few weeks ago, and i installed 10.6.0 perfectly everything worked fine.

Audio,Graphics,Ethernet,DVD/CD reader & everything so, then i had to update to 10,6,8 from Software update, so i started download thing and while i watched a movie on this hackintosh ( which by the way, looks amazing ) anyway i finished my movie and then i started update process to 10,6,8. So i updated & i everything was fine, awsome, then a few days ago, i bought a new movie, and i was like WTF ? i'll watch it at midnight since it was a thriller

So when i insert my DVD on my DVD reader, i noticed that it doesn't read CDs or DVDs anymore, i thought it was a Kext problem, i used Multibeast to find some kind of Kext for it, but there wasn't any i said WTF ?

now i can not read anything on that reader not even Set Up CDs, Games, Programs or nothing.

Something intresting its that it works perfectly on Windows XP & Seven & even it boot Linux & Efi The Empire from DVD/CD, it seems to be something related with the system or update.


Can someone help me out !

My hackintosh build is :

Board : Intel DP35DP
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 Ghz
Graphics : Nvidia GeForce 9300
RAM : 3GB
DVD/CD drive : IDE
If im missing something just ask for it
