Hi. I've today installed retail version of Snow Leopard on my notebook (MSI GX600 - 2,4GHz Intel C2D, 4GB 677MHz RAM, 8600mGT 512MB) using Rebel EFI CD. Everything is all right after few installed kexts, but than comes updates I need to do updates (I know, that some Hackintosh distributions had problems with them) and I thought, that with Rebel EFI, it will be OK. But it's not...
I have the same problem, which is described here.
The solution there seemed to be OK and the only one. So I've done everything there exactly as it was in the tutorial. The problem is, that the Command line installer don't work and I don't know why .
This is, what i've got in terminal.
I've done a lot of googling, but found no way, how to "fix it". If there way another way, how to solve the problem with kernel panic, I would try it, but it seems, that this is the only way .
