Since I have a IDE hard drive, I need to install mac from a IDE CD/DVD drive. I also have a Sata DVD drive, and my mac dvd it boots off of there, but it says "Still waiting for root device"

So basically I can't boot any dvd/cd from my IDE DVD Drive and I need help. The same dvds/cds work for my sata. And my IDE DVD drive works in VMWare. I just cant boot it from the BIOS.

When I try to boot it says

"Boot from CD..."
Then I hear my IDE DVD drive working, but it doesn't say anything, and i try pressing a key to boot, but nothing happens.

HELP PLEASE!
